General Information: Ege University, founded in 1955, comprises 13 faculties. The Psychology Department includes the Cognitive Psychology Lab, where experiments as well as demonstrations and teaching of laboratory techniques take place, and the Ege Cognitive Development Lab, where research is conducted on emotional and cognitive processes in childhood and adolescence.
Study programs and specializations: A 4-year bachelor's degree in psychology is offered. In the master's degree, there are several specializations, including Experimental Psychology, Developmental Psychology, Clinical Psychology, Psychometrics, and Social Psychology.
Study schedule: The winter semester usually begins at the end of September and ends at the beginning of January, with exams lasting until the end of January. The summer semester lasts from mid-February to the end of May, with exams lasting until mid-June.
